Use a high-quality teak oil or refined/boiled linseed oil formulated for outdoor use. After application, wipe away any excess oil with a dry cloth about an hour later. Caution: Oil-soaked rags can be flammable-dispose of them with care. For added protection, cover or store furniture during harsh weather or winter months.
